Controlling Asha
Asha is a big stubborn dog and she loves to pull on the leash when we go on walks. It doesn't matter if I tug on the choke chain with all my strength, she doesn't care if she's strangling herself. She wants to be the leader of the pack and get the park as soon as possible so that she can play frisbee.
I found out about the "Gentle Leader Dog Harness" from the Cool Tools blog I subscribe to. It's cheap ($17) so I decided to give it a shot.
It works perfectly. Now, even Jace can hold the leash and if he pulls on it Asha stops. No more tug-of-war! I wish I bought it four years ago.
