Willard Suitcase Exhibit
Hundreds of suitcases from former patients were found when the Willard Psychiatric Center in New York was closed in 1995. This website used the contents of the suitcases and the patient records to tell the stories of some of the residents. It's pretty scary to think how relatively tame behavior could get you institutionalized for the rest of your life back then.
