Shibboleth

If you recall, Samantha and I visited the Tate Modern about a year and a half ago while we were in Europe. Here is a picture I took of the installation on the main floor at the time:



I stumbled across a picture of the latest installation while looking at Reuter's pictures of the year (which I recommend checking out):



The installation on the main floor of the Tate Modern is called "Shibboleth" by Doris Salcedo. The word is defined as the use of language to exclude or include social groups.

The Tate Modern is a great building for these kind of installations because it is so cavernous and unique since it was formerly a power plant. It's location on the Thames makes for incredible views if you visit the higher floors.
