I love this diagram from The Cosumerisnt to help simplify the digital tv transition coming up.

I can't believe that it's been five years or so since they first started talking about this and people are freaking out like they did with the Y2K bug.

What's the worst that could happen? Someone might turn on their TV and get nothing... So they call someone and they find out they need a $40 box that the government is going to pay them back for via a voucher.

I think the reason all the broadcasters are so freaked is they don't want to lose even one day of ad revenue.
